With every word you help us type we are discovering a bit of our history. We are learning about all the people that have collected plants, who they where, what they found, when they found it and where. This are important questions and right now are locked away in rooms waiting to be discovered.

Over the last few years governments have realized how valuable this information is and have started to fund collections to take a photograph of millions of plant specimens. Unfortunately computers are not smart enough at this time to process all the information completely so this is where you come in. HelpingScience was designed to make this complex problem simple. In a series of stages we transform the words on the page to something meaningful to the collection managers. To do that we need your help in reading and writing some of the information we are not able to figure out. To do this we have setup some interfaces and HelpingScience Tokens to make it a bit more engaging.

Step 1

Sign up. You can create your own account with us or you can use your Google, Yahoo, or Facebook account.

Step 2

Choose the app that best interested you and where we might need the most help. Some app's focus on specific type of information that we need entered and some have more work to do then other app's.

Step 3

Collect Tokens by entering correct answers and then donate or pledge those Tokens to real causes and HelpingScience will donate real money on your behalf.
